I looked and I haven't seen this question posted yet. I just bought some goji berries but am kind of lost as to what to do with them. I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Sorry, Tiffany, I have nothing. I've never eaten/bought any. – Nance Jan 22 2012 at 1:38

Are these dried, frozen or fresh? I've never worked with fresh ones, as they're not available where I am. I've used the dried ones in trail mixes. One of my favorites is gojis, dried cranberries, pistacios and cashews. It's a pretty color combo, too.

The ones I bought are dried. I know I can eat them that way, grind them into a powder or soak them but beyond that I'm stumped. – Tiffany1070 Jan 22 2012 at 3:53

I like to snack on them. They also work well in soups.

If you eat dairy - mix some in a bowl of home made yogurt and leave for a few hours. They absorb the moisture, become soft and sweet and make the yogurt creamier because of the reduced moisture. You can add some other freeze dried berries as well - makes a good dessert.

I don't particularly care for goji berries, but my mother loves them. She like to soak them in hot water for a few minutes to re-hydrate the berries since the kind we get are pretty hard. She just eats them straight up, like stewed prunes.
