I've gotten around to eating organ meats now thanks to US Wellness Liverwurst. I hear frequently I should eat it at least once a week. Typically, I eat .5lbs of meat a day. Should I be eating that much of it?

Probably depends on which branch of Paleo you're following :p But liverwurst and other patés make liver a little more palatable to those of us who had to choke down overcooked and dry liver and onions as a kid ... Perfect Health Diet recommends about a quarter pound of beef or lamb liver per week to get your weekly supply of copper (roughly averaging to 2mg per day). |

i probably over do it with 1/2lb beef liver, 1/2lb beef kidney, 3/4lb chicken liver and 1lb of beef heart each week. i hardly ever eat pork/chicken flesh anymore. |
