I noticed something this morning. The breakfast I was eating, I wouldn't have eaten pre-paleo. I had a big hunk of grass-fed beef with some pesto, sauerkraut, and kale. Kraut and kale are both fairly new to my diet, especially breakfast. But then I also added a touch of black currant preserves, low in sugar. It added just a touch of sweetness, and really rounded out some of the flavors. My father puts jam on meat, and I used to find it disgusting. So apparently my tastes have changed.
Is this typical? Has anyone else noticed a change in their tastebuds? Bonus if someone knows the science behind it.
