Wouldn't this be the perfect place to collect, by region, the best places to buy the foods suited to the Paleo diet?

Great idea. Maybe a list of grass-fed beef providers? Anyone? – Patrik Feb 13 2010 at 7:23

I buy butter (from grass-fed cows) from these folks: http://www.pastureland.coop/

Delicious and well-worth it.

I am so lucky to live in virginia where I can buy Polyface farms meat and eggs which I read about in the book The Omnivores Delemma. You can drive to the farm to pick it up or they have drop points around the area once a month or in Virgina Beach they sell it at the organic store at the farmers market off Dam Neck road. There is also the Full Quiver Farm in suffolk that sells grassfed meats. And they are at the Old Beach farmers market on saturdays in the Croc's restaurant parking lot.

Is the Polyface stuff as good as it is alleged to be? – Patrik Feb 28 2010 at 3:45
