I would really like to get a full medical workup but I dont have a regular doctor. Is the best route to find a general doc then try to get tests or to order tests directly online? I am currently trying to work with one of the well known paleo practitioners but from initial contact it has been over 2 months and I still havent been sent lab tests.

i used to work at a hospital laboratory were we could run practically every blood test imaginable because it was a medial laboratory scientist training center. hundreds of doctors had privileges at this medical center. Yet hardly any Doctor had his lab work done their. Ever. i always suspected they though we for fun would run drug screens on them. And we certainly could do that. Now we have healthy citizens that want lab work done but dont qualify because of health insurance guidelines that force doctors not to order tests for fear of being what ever. most labs that are certified wont run a test without a doctor order. so you are going to be using a non certified lab results if you can find that kind of lab. |
