Well I just got back from dance class and was is desperate need of calories. I say this as I am doing the leangains.com IF schedule and so won't normally eat from 21:00 to 14:00. I want to get my calories in for the day and also need to get to sleep as I have a busy morning ahead.
Tonight I decided to grab something that I could eat in 2 minutes while walking home and then head straight to bed. I decided on the following:
A 310g Melton Mowbray Pork Pie.
Pork 30%, Wheat flour, Pork Lard, Pork Fat, Salt, White Pepper, Gelatine, Egg, Black Pepper. No artificial colors, flavours or hydrogentaed fat.
Typical values were given per 100g so if I multiple them for 310g:
1150.1Kcal, 29.45g Protein, 69.13g Carbohydrate, 83.39g Fat (29.40g saturates), 3.1g Fibre, 3.30g Salt.
Now I am OK with gluten, so basically this pie was just a once off wedge of protein, wheat and fat, and apart from being very tasty I feel it did the best job.
Thoughts?
I'm off to bed so will catch them tomorrow.
Thanks
