That suggested diet sounds horrifying to me! Sadly, you're condition is probably worse than mine, but I have to watch what I eat somewhat as well for cystic acne (for me the trigger is dairy products). Not to mention that potatoes bind me up something fierce ... but I digress. Remember that seafood and meats aren't inherently "high fat". There are plenty of lean meats out there that are delicious. My favorite of the leans is probably my favorite meat overall: elk. Goat is probably more readily available, and quite delicious. Many fish (most of the white fish) are very, very low in fat. So, if you can process potatoes and goat dairy, that part sounds okay. However, you should be able to incorporate plenty of lean meat, even if it's mostly seafood. |

I plugged these into Fitday (3 cups of potatoes and 3 cups of yogurt) and it looks like you would be short on Vitamin A, D, E, a lot of minerals (iron, magnesium, etc.) Like greymouser said, you can probably eat a much larger variety of foods without necessarily eating a lot of fat. |

Could you add some meat and egg yolks and perhaps some spinach or broccoli? Egg yolks would be from hard boild eggs? |
