There's nothing quite like sprinting through the woods while dodging flesh-eating zombies to get you in a primal state of mind.

Run for your lives!

Are there any other paleo folks in the DC area interested in registering? It looks like a blast...

OMG! It's coming to Austin! Thanks for posting this JeezLoise. I don't know how Paleo it is, but I'm sure we could make the case. Paleolithic peoples were hunted as much as they were the hunters right? So it would be similar in that we would have to run for our lives! Why is that so fun sounding?

It's paleo in a post-apocalyptic sort of way, hahaha. – JeezLoise Feb 14 2012 at 16:40
I love the photographs : people smiling while zombies are around them. – Korion Feb 14 2012 at 16:45

I don't care if it's Paleo or not, it sounds like a blast! Why not Chicago? Oh well, I've been meaning to hit Seattle this year anyway.

Sounds like a more organized and non-free version of Journey to the End of the Night, which I've done before and was definitely a lot of fun. Just a word of advice when playing Alternate Reality games, if you die in the game, you die in real life (especially pertains to people running through traffic to escape zombies)

I have disallowed myself from participating in anything like this. Why?

Because fuck running away from zombies. My goal would be to clear the course using whatever weapons I could fashion from the materials at hand.

Honestly, I can only ever see them having a couple of these before some asshole/lunatic shows up with a riot shield and a baton.
