I have rheumatoid arthritis, when I eat every day, salmon and other fatty fish, everything is OK. But the tuna begin in great pain. I think it's because of the high protein content in tuna. |

Depends on the protein, and the type of carbs. High protein grain fed grain finished beef, cooked well done, and low carb multi-grain bread = arthritis/inflammation. |

My wife and I started eating unweighed/unmeasured Paleo about two and a half weeks ago. I couldn't say whether the macro-nutrient ratio we're eating is high-protein or not, but I can say that the chronic pain and inflammation of her arthritic knees has virtually disappeared. To the point that she's reconsidering the total knee replacement surgery she's scheduled for next month. |
