Once a week I eat nuts--almonds. I eat enough to satisfy my salty craving ---of course it turns into too much. But I only do it once a week. How about you guys?
Macadamia nuts. If there's a bag in the house that's all she wrote.
Cheese. Just plain trouble. Especially if there are macadamia nuts in the house (Love them together)
Bacon. I can eat a whole package all by myself in a day. O.k. fine. Half a day. Or an hour. Something like that.
Adding Lucques olives from Trader Joes. I'm pretty sure a whole jar is not a single serving. (Like eating buttah!)
I have a slightly embarrassing addiction to roast pumpkin. As in I will eat an entire pumpkin's worth roasted in balsamic vinegar, coconut oil and thyme in one sitting... on my own... and still want more. I am the butt of family jokes over it, and after a particular unrestrained stint a few months back even developed a obvious yellow colouring. Now I have to practice moderation, it's easier than having to repeatedly reassure folk I don't have jaundice :P.
Wow, I guess there are plenty. Foi gras, macademia (I got some for Christmas), dried figs (got those in my stocking too), but if I had my choice, I'd have fegato grasso (pan seared fresh goose liver) at once a week. And oh, fresh whipped cream. My desert of choice when out. I just order a cup of it. No sugar, no nothing, the cream is plenty.
