I am headed to Santa Barbara, CA and the surrounding area for the weekend and I am looking for a few dining options. Does anyone have a recommendation? Lunch/Dinner preferably. I dont eat breakfast very often. Thanks in advance!

Based on my own search, Seagrass Restaurant looks like a solid option.

Go to Lilly's tacos on Chapala. It's cheap and owned by a real person so you can get what you want. I usually get one taco and then pile on the toppings. Go here early in your trip because you will want to go back.

That was my first stop last time I was in SB. – Happy Now May 15 2012 at 4:24

If you need a basic burger, try The Habit.

If you are headed to Santa Ynez, stop at the Roundup Market for some simple bbq.

Meat n Potatoes on Hollister has great veggie sides and good steaks (altho not grass fed)

If you live in the Santa Barbara area, check out HR Cooperative Grass Fed Beef! They aren't a restaurant but their grass fed beef is sold in a few stores in the area: Country Kitchen in Goleta, Shalhoob Meats in Sb, El Rancho and New Frontiers in Solvang, and El Rancho in Pismo Beach. They also have a meat club where members get free deliveries of choice cuts every month for $100. Their number 805 567 5099. They also have a facebook page with recipes, updates, etc

Well, this is a little out of the way, but in Ventura there is a restaurant on Main Street called Winchesters that has a grass fed beef and kobe beef burger.

I got wrapped in lettuce with a baked sweet potato on the side! Yum!
