Can you find any better studies that specifically use a "paleolithic diet"? From the abstract: "Even short-term consumption of a paleolithic type diet improves BP and glucose tolerance, decreases insulin secretion, increases insulin sensitivity and improves lipid profiles without weight loss in healthy sedentary humans." Doesn't look like they were going for long-term. – Chris Feb 19 2012 at 21:43
Many studies are indeed small. That were paleo research seems to be lacking. There's always this: springerlink.com/content/h7628r66r0552222 and other papers from the same research group. If you think of it in person-days, the OP paper is only 90 person-days of study. – Matt Feb 19 2012 at 22:36
