I have dry everything (joints, tendons, skin,etc..) since an acne med cycle a few years back. I grabbed a bottle of HA by Baxyl at Whole Foods. A quote on their website caught my eye:
"It is also believed that contemporary humans ingest far less hyaluronan than did their ancestors, and that optimum levels of intake are not achieved by the typical 21st-century diet."
does anyone take anything similar to this? (bone broth-type supplements other than chondr or glucosamine)
Hyaluronic acid combined with aloe Vera juice (my understanding is that the aloe acts as a catalyst) is a great way to rehydrate joints very quickly. Of course, the whole food sources such as bone broths are best but if your having issues with joint dehydration which often manifests and cracking and popping and even weakness, it might be a good way to alleviate this in a quicker manner. I think broths should also be a component.
(Remember, if your making broths, to add apple cider vinegar at the start to help extract these nutrients)

I found relief taking HA & aloe in combination for a short while. Also, lots of water! Most of us are dehydrated so hydrating is a huge component.
I took it for 2 months following a hip surgery. I also took/still take lots of gelatine, glucosamine and chondroitin, so I don't know how much the hyaluronan helped. But my hair and nails grow like crazy :)
I also try to eat as much bone broth and tendons/joint cartilage as possible from real meat.
You get the stuff from bone broths that are made from joints. Knees are the easiest to get if going with beef I believe, but any articulating joint works. Great for the joints, if a deficiency is the problem.
