Does Strassburger brand liverwurst tastes good, is it worth buying?

Does anyone know what the ingredients are? I did not see them listed in the link above.

Update: I finally bought some of this liverwurst at the deli counter of my local grocery store. I still don't know all the ingredients in it, but it is the best tasting liverwurst I've eaten to date.

Is all liverwurst made with the same combo as us wellness brand? grasslandbeef.com/Detail.bok?no=821 ? This is the only kind I've ever had and it is excellent. – JayJay Feb 22 2012 at 3:37

JayJay, I think makers of liverwurst use different cuts mixed with the liver. US Wellness includes beef kidney in their beef liverwurst and I don't think every producer includes kidney in their liverwurst. – Wcc Kamal Stabby fan Feb 22 2012 at 3:42
ahhhh.... wasn't sure if that ratio was some sort of standard or not. Well, hope someone else has some better info for you. – JayJay Feb 22 2012 at 3:46
US Wellness liverwurst uses BEEF organs and it is great. Most store bought liverwursts I've seen use PORK liver. I'm not too sure about pork liver. – scottts Nov 21 at 20:41

I just bought some, but I don't think I got the portion of the label that includes the ingredients. I recall them being fairly generic for liverwurst. As far as taste goes, it's pretty smooth, and not very complex. I'd say there's a distinct lack of seasoning with this brand compared to some others, and not a strong "offal" taste.

For me, it's a current local fallback. I'll probably have my next batch shipped, or purchased somewhere further out, if only because the local options aren't great.

It's basically garbage. Contains pork and pork liver, no beef liver at all, and lots of preservatives.
