Honestly, I doubt it. The amount of stress these athletes put on their bodies cannot be reciprocated by any diet. And it's not very likely that he got to be a world class athlete (development, athleticism, etc.) in a malnourished state or any other condition that would be drastically optimized by a paleo diet. |

Nope. At that level, it's mostly genetics. Hell, look at Brett Farve. Arguably the most durable athlete ever, No special diet except beer and opiates. Many, if not most pro athletes eat poorly, especially by paleo standards. Hell, Lamar Odom(I think) played in the NBA living mostly on candy for a while- he even had a personal shopper for it. |
