One meal a day if you think you are close to messing up metabolism is insane, and eating late is the worst way to do it. Do a big breakfast, moderate lunch, and skip dinner if you want to. Sleeping on a full stomach is not what you want to do.... (more)

There's no reason to stop breastfeeding at 1. The WHO recommends going until age 2. I personally breastfed my daughter til 28 mos. My youngest is almost 8 mos and I'll continue to breastfeed him as long as he wants. Look into child led weaning.... (more)

I don't think anyone knows yet. There's suggestion that not triggering it will prolong life, but we are a long way from a clear picture of what is happening.

Even without a gallbladder you are still producing bile and it still does its job of emulsifying the fats in your meal. The only difference is that the bile isn't stored in a bladder and squirted in in large quantities as needed, it still gets... (more)
