Hi all. I know it is a good thing to avoid sugar. Do any of you use raw honey to sweeten foods? Thanks all for your feedback. It would be so fun to have a Paleo convention and meet you all.

I occasionally use a bit of organic maple syrup instead. I seem to tolerate it better. (Lower fructose maybe?)
I love it...we have several raw local sources...great for baking, treating allergies, and putting on cuts too! I could go for some honey-roasted duck wings right now :(
Honey, which is raw and locally raised, is beneficial. For some people it may cause problems. But a person with healthy stomach can tolerate honey very well where raw honey is a good option. Honey is good sweetener in moderation. They also contain amino acids, minerals and vitamins to small amount so it is a great alternative for cane sugar or stevia. Processed honey is bad.
If you're trying to avoid sugar then why would honey be okay?
Food for thought.
Raw honey is definitely a good sweetener to go with, however make sure you are not using too much. It's high in fructose which isn't the best, but it tastes good and is natural!
The dose makes the poison...as always, enjoy in moderation.
