I am planning on making my first ever batch of chicken bone broth this week, but I'm thinking I need to invest in a crockpot. What brand/model of crockpot does everyone recommend? All advice and suggestions are welcome!

I've been very happy with my 5 qt DeLonghi, but if I ever have to replace it, I'll look for a 6.5 or 7 qt model so I can make more broth at one time. The 5 qt is perfect for my small family in terms of making things like pot roast or pulled pork,... (more)

Has anyone every come across a grass-fed/finished farm that sells very tender meat? I've ordered quarter cows from a few farms now, and while I've enjoyed a lot of the meat, I find that the steaks and briskets tend to be tough. Part of the issue... (more)

Look online for grassfed Wagyu (the Kobe beef breed.) They're naturally very marbled. It's mighty pricey, though. :-) If it were me (and it is) I'd just get the best grassfed locally I can get and smother everything in grassfed ghee for extra... (more)
