When I hear the Crossfit folks in my office complaining about being overly sore or injured (I work with a ton of Crossfit followers). Suck it up! If you keep getting injured, uh, it might be your crappy form in your lifting/exercise techniques (A LOT of this going on in Crossfit gyms) or just too much for you to handle (not a problem, just don't kill yourself trying to do it). Keep it up, the chiropractors and doctors are just salivating out there waiting for you to become their patients, lol.
You don't need to do Crossfit (not all can/should do it anyway). Just get out and "move" and "move often". If you choose to do weight training, great, but learn proper exercises for muscle groups and proper lifting techniques. Crossfit is NOT the "Holy Grail" folks, lol.
