Haven't read the article, but it looks like a typical Reductio ad Hitlerum argument fallacy (e.g. Hitler was a vegetarian, so all vegetarians are bad)typical post hoc ergo propter hoc in this case). It's not because one person on a specific diet is ill, that the diet is necessarily bad. There are other factors besides diet (such as the alleged alcoholism in this case) that also play a role. I'm so tired of all of these fallacies.
