I had my first migraine yesterday in years and it was the most bizarre one I've ever had. It actually started with me seeing flashing zig-zag lines. Then about 15 minutes later the headache hit. In my case, the trigger was a colonic that I tried for the first, and last, time. Fortunately for me, (but unfortunately for my husband - he has chronic migraines), he gave me a Maxalt which took care of it. I have light hazel (grey, blue, green) eyes. Husband has brown eyes and does not eat paleo. He refuses to connect his food to his migraines.
