My foolproof hanging prevention (and cure) is as follows - taken while ingesting, before bed, or upon waking - though prior to sleep is ideal:

• something fatty (brisket or fage...brisket preferred)

• something high in B vites (I use Jigsaw Active B complex as I don't eat most organ meats...though I know I should eat them)

• electrolytes - a little calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium

 -

  • 250 mg potassium chloride or potassium gluconate-

  • 250 mg magnesium (I use jigsaw time released magnesium as I can't tolerate any mag citrate/aspartate/glycinate etc)-

  • 125-250 mg calcium citrate if I ate brisket instead of fage-

  • sodium - a pinch only if there was no salt added to the meat, or if i used fage instead of meat

• 8 or so oz water

• motrin if sleep deprivation is expected, I'll use it to prevent the sleep deprivation headache. will also use in cases of "red wine headache" which can unfortunately occur for me with specific red wines at even lower intake levels (ie 2 oz)

ETA: not sure why some of the text is showing up in a brownish-red on my monitor. thoughts?
