Scientists say salmonella helps immune system to destroy cancer cells

Salmonella: Immune Responses and Vaccines

I've been getting my raw chicken from packs of boneless skinless breasts from Walmart. It's cheaper than beef at $1.88/lb. (vs. > $3.50/lb.), but probably not produced under the most sanitary conditions. Still haven't had any issues with salmonella or any problems.

And I've been eating raw meat nearly every day since the end of 2009. Began eating raw chicken late 2010. I get the meat on special whenever I can, which means oftentimes the meat is near expiration, yet I've never run into any issues. But the problem with those jumbo chicken breasts is that you have to trim the pieces of nasty polyunsat fat off them.

Raw ground beef, liver, chicken breasts all taste good and more juicy because they retain more of their natural content, moisture, and flavor than when you cook it. I buy lean and add in coconut oil for fatty flavor, so I never have to worry about omega-3/6 ratio.

EDIT To be fair, I want to notify the community that I only wrote this to share with all of you and have no intention of reading anyone's comments. Hope you didn't put too much thought into them.

Still haven't bothered to read anyone's comments, but guessing from the number of responses and negative votes, maybe you think I'm saying to go eat raw chicken. Wrong.

I'm just making you aware that there are people such as myself who can eat foods like raw chicken and benefit from and not fear it, even though you have to. Don't hate me for it.
