I have been primal/paleo for a year and a half. I lost roughly 30 pounds within the first 90 days and have kept it off. I am 6' 170 lbs and I am right now actually trying to gain some muscle, which for me is really hard on paleo because the food is so satiating that it is difficult to get enough calories down the pie hole in order to gain significant mass.
Paleo works well for shedding fat and, most importantly, KEEPING IT OFF! Best of luck, Nick!
