Energy drinks are the ultimate cash cow. I really doubt they put high quality vitamins/etc. in them, because it cuts into the profit.
Side note, for anything with B12 in it, take a look at the type of B-12. Vast majority of the time, you'll see Cyanocobalamin. This version needs to be processed into Methylcobalamin in the liver in order to be used by the body. You can get ultra-megadoses of Cyanocobalamin, but the bioavailability of this depends on how good your liver processes it. You're probably going to pee out most of it. You really want a Methylcobalamin form of B-12 to get the best bioavailability. Why do they stick the lesser version in things? It's more stable, so lasts longer on the shelf.
