My tonsils got so large when I was around 4 that I've had problems with sleeping, snoring and tonsil stone since. My mom took me to a doctor because even my voice had changed. The reply was that I was trying to be cute. This morning I checked in the mirror and they have halved in size. Maybe food allergies?
