I noticed recently since its become winter (southern hemisphere) and my diet has been so good as of late, I noticed myself craving bad food more often and as a result cheating more often than I would like. So for this reason I decided that it is better to stock up on "paleo junk food" and eat that in abundance rather than cheat and eat bad takeaway food which is nearly always much worse than even the worst paleo food
So I have a fridge and pantry full of:
- Bacon, Pork Ribs, and Good Quality Sausages (I cook them up in the oven in batches and leave it in the fridge as a quickly grabbed snack--heating optional!)
- Low-sugar/High-fat Yoghurt
- Low-sugar/High-cocoa Dark Chocolate
- Dark chocolate covered Macadamia nuts
- Salami
- Beef Jerky
- Dried Fruit (apricots, blueberries, strawberries, etc)
- Vintage Cheddar Cheese
This keeps me fully satisfied and much less tempted to eat bad food day to day. Throw in a gluten-free pizza every once in a while and I'm good to go!
