Honestly the same exact thing happened to me and it turned out I had parasites. I suggest going to a really good homeopath.

If you are looking for just a workout and not rowing-specific, pick up a Schwinn AirDyne. Cheaper than a concept2 erg and it's called "Satan's Trycicle" for a reason.
