Calories do seem pretty low given your stats and level of activity. Sometimes eating too little can actually stop fat loss, especially when you don't have a lot of excess fat to lose. I would increase calories for sure. Take a look at some... (more)

Has anyone here tried and had success with the Maffetone Method? The formula is 180 minus your age to get a max heart rate. Your not suppose to go over the MHR as you jog. I do Spartan race and Tough Mudder and I'm trying to improve my running. (more)

How was the hypothyroidism diagnosed? Was it on the basis of TSH? You need a complete thyroid panel including free T3, free T4, and rT3, plus testing for both antibodies. Then treatment should be focused on the root cause of your hypothyroidism.... (more)
