I buy the organic pre-washed greens from earthbound. Their 50/50 spinach/spring mix + left over turkey, tomato, onion, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper BOOM awesome salad. Add feta for extra awesome.

The only thing I've ever heard about spinach is that the iron is only "unlocked" for absorbsion when it is cooked. That being said, I don't think they are a bad choice for salads its just not the best way to get the high iron content out of it. I... (more)

i usually make my own dressing, which usually consists of EVOO, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, and sometimes a bit of garlic. salsa and/or guacamole also works as an excellent salad dressing!

Hack Mark's Lunch Salad? A lot of folks are trying to loose weight and they are taking Mark's lunch salad as a key part of their diet. What are your thoughts? Mark is in great shape and can likely get away with a lot more than most people.
