In san fran on holiday... Looking for places to eat that have paleo friendly options.... Ate and 4505 meats already, great! Any more near lombard, fisherman's wharf area, specifically breakfast and cafes and stuff, wanna check out ROAM as well.... (more)

Thanks! Had a lot of lettuced wrapped burgers, salads, went and bought veggies from the store and market, and had ciopipino (seafood tomato based soup)... Wasn't entirely sure if it was 100% paleo, but it wasn't cream based and didn't have... (more)

I just moved here, used to East Bay sunshine, so not sure what kind of crops might be good when it seems to be cloudy and (relatively) cold here.

The Bay area is good squash growing country. Look down the coast to Salinas for more ideas - every kind of lettuce, broccoli, artichokes, strawberries, raspberries, and that's just a start. If you have lots of space anyway. I lived 700 miles... (more)

Ferry Building Farmer's Market (a little glitzy, but fun). There are a couple of butchery classes in the city, I think your timing is off for Avedano unfortunately, looks like there is a sold out sausage workshop at 4505 but you might get lucky... (more)

The Plant Cafe, a few Peruvian resaturants (meet and ceviches), Squat & Gobble and the Grove have good salads w/meat
