You'd need such a small amount of sea veggies to get a more than adequate dose of iodine I would think, you're suggesting that that level of carbohydrate would be problematic?

I understand dried fruits can be moldy. but when you cook mold, does it die? i'm on SCD with hopes of eliminating candida, and like to eat cooked raisins in my almond flour cookies. anyone have thoughts on if this is ok? thanks!

I personally wouldn't worry than much about Fodmaps, unless the problem doesn't go away within a few months. Just do Paleo with the SCD/GAPS twist: home-made goat kefir (which is more potent than their suggested yogurt). Everything else should be... (more)

Everything Karen said, plus you might want to take some glutamine to help with the cravings. And olive oil is good but saturated fat is a lot better. Can you get your hands on some coconut oil? That's a great source of energy.
