Hack my wife's vagina

by (5796)
Updated about 10 hours ago
Created July 09, 2011 at 2:17 AM

My wife is just starting menopause and has started to get a little dry. She went on a 30 day meat only diet and the juices were flowing again like she was 20 and her sex drive also increased - neither of which I complained about. The problem is that within days of adding veggies back to her diet (100 grams of carbs daily), dryness returned.

She did the meat only diet for another week to see if it was coincidence and after 2 days on meat only she felt relief. The problem is that she doesn't want a meat only diet but would like some natural relief.

So the question is other than a meat only diet, are there other paleo foods that can help? Have any older women experienced something similar?

OH! see I thought he was calling his wife's vagina a hack, like it was bad at its job or didn't know what it was doing... doy. Boy is my face red. It turns out words can mean different things and all things being equal, the simplest answer is the best. ( I would have said Occam's Razor, but I don't want to get accused of being punny about circumcision. It was pretty disingenuous of you to assume the worst when 30% of all questions on this site start with "hack my..."

OMG learn how to have some fun! Some people just have to be so PC that you cannot make a joke about anything! Seriously! People upvoted this question because it was funny/different/interesting and maybe because they are immature... but WHO care, everyone has a little immaturity in them somewhere, and it's obvious that the question asker was not referring to female genital mutilation at all.

Oh, I didn't see your comment, April, sorry for not answering. Honestly, I have no idea. One of the glories (for me) of all-meat is I don't weigh, measure, count or track a damn thing. But every time I have for a couple days (usually as a result of some internet challenge), I'm at about 1600-1800 calories, 65% fat, 35% protein. I don't know how that works out in grams.

Did you notice how many women commented with their own person experiences of sexual liberation? Maybe you should go back up there and give it a read. I think the most offensive part is your implication that this community is somehow approving of female genital mutilation. And that's some b.s. right there.

I didn't have a lot of luck with meat only (there goes culture born stereo-types) but if people want to try it and are worried about vitamin C I don't see that you can't have grilled fish with some fresh squeezed lemon as a not-quite-middle ground.

Yeah, true that...been regulating my fluids (is there a less medical term than vaginal fluids or a less foodie term than juices? curious), and noticed some dryness. Might "medicate with meat", as they say (apparently)..

No on mentioned this, so here goes: TOO MUCH INFORMATION WARNING: Women are wetter/drier depending on time of the month. For example: They have their period, then they're dry, then they're a little wet, then they're more wet, then they're REAAALLY wet (when they are going to ovulate), then they are dry again until they're on their period again. And it repeats. It can be only 3 days of wetness, though sometimes more. So don't over think this.

How many grams of protein would you say you eat in a meat-only diet? Coz right now I'm 5'3", 105 lbs, and eating almost 200 g protein (usually eating 2000-2500 calories a day). I still eat veggies and nuts. Carbs are around 30 g a day. Looking to lose that little bit of belly pudge.

Most of us peri-menopausal gals are actually low on progesterone, and estrogen dominant. Using a bio-identical progesterone cream for hot flashes also caused me to be extra juicy.

@Mitschu: Someone did say "We're going to hang Obama with this recession": Mitt Romney. It was widely considered a gaffe. That you would smirk a lynching joke is unfortunate. Talking with you feels like I'm pointing out an offense on KKKHacks.org. @mth: My gripe is more with the community upvoting your thread more than any other. One person missing the possible offensive nature of the comment is understandable, but the whole community missing it, and upvoting it, is discouraging.

I didn't downvote your comment, but I'd have to say that your statement "The entendre of violence to female genitalia is obvious" is only true if you're looking for negatives. Neither I nor my wife thought of it and only used hack in the manner that it has been used hundreds of times on this site and in the manner the term is supposed to be used on this site. I apologize that I offended you or anyone else, but you really did find something that wasn't there. What I find humorous is that I thought if anything, people would be offended by vagina.

re: circumcision - http://www.circumstitions.com/FGMvsMGM.html - quote worthy is this: "Thus, despite the heterogeneous voices speaking out against female circumcision, a common thread unites many: all forms of female genital cutting are seen to constitute a sexual mutilation and violation of bodily integrity, and male genital operations are dismissed as benign."

If someone said "We're going to hang Obama with this recession," I'd smirk at the unintentional pun. It's called black humor, and it's perfectly healthy. (And damn, there was another pun.) I would not condemn them for it, especially since it was unintentional. I'll leave that to the PC police who are afraid of the power of words. And dancing around something, with the intention of stating it, but making others infer it - does not make you any less aggressive, it just makes you passive aggressive.

Yes, my little boys comment is snarky, but it also avoids the other accusation. If someone said "We're going to hang Obama with this recession," they'd be condemned for making a lynching reference, even if unintended. Instead of calling people on this site misogynists, I went for the tamer taunt of immaturity. The issue remains.

I'm against all forms of genital mutilation, including that against boys. One can't say they are the same, however, as female genital mutilation often removes the subjects ability to achieve orgasm, while male circumcision does not.

And please don't bring up genital mutilation in 3rd world countries just because it somewhat features females and thus fits into your narrow world view. Genital mutilation still occurs on a daily basis in America, England, Australia, Germany, etc. but nobody cares about that because it only occurs to boys, and is called "circumcision."

How can you possibly browse this website, Arlokk, when the very title contains a term that is used to represent physical violence associated with an axe or machete? It must be a nonstop, day-in day-out source of trauma and victimization for you, being forced to browse this website for your Paleo needs. In all seriousness, if I made a sweeping comment about how the community of little girls on this site got offended because someone said vagina, people would call it as it is: sexist generalization. Flip that coin over and ruminate.

Not sure if this is a joke post or not, but I literally never thought of hack in any other meaning other than as "a way to solve everyday problems" as used in the title of the website. I did use the word vagina because, well, that's what it's proper name is. If I wanted to be crude I'd have used pussy or some other slang term.

Lol on "gagging," mem. @BB: I've been all-meat since Sept 2009, minus a couple of multi-week experiments adding veggies back in (that didn't work out for me). Oddly, I'm not a fan of restricted diets; my body has sort of backed me into this, but in general I think people should eat as broadly as they can, except for poisons, of course. With that caveat, I don't worry about nutrients. I eat organs and seafood, and those take care of most of the bases that muscle meats don't cover. And I pretty much buy the Vit C/glucose uptake competition model, where without carbs, you don't need C.

This is pretty common. MDA has a thread over there where we talked about this very issue in long thread. Just keep feeding her meat. I usually tell women in menopause to stay below 25 gms of carbs because they all have pregnenlone steal syndrome to some degree and a bit of leptin resistance. Eating strict paleo really boosts their sex steroid hormones.

Well, I don't know about other paleo foods that can help. But I'm perimenopausal, 47, and I've been meat-only for two years now (why does that make me giggle in this context?). I had been VLC before that for about two years. So: I went from around 300+ g carbs daily to about 20g, and then down to less than, oh, 3g or so (toting up trace carbs in eggs, organ meats (giggle again), etc.). And I can tell you that the benefits of dropping those last bits of plant matter were far greater than you'd expect, proportionally speaking.

Not only did I lose weight, constant gnawing hunger, and joint pain, I gained a great deal of, ah, zeal. It's not something I've mentioned often, but my husband walks around now smiling like that guy in the male enhancement commercials -- and no, he didn't buy any of that stuff ;D.

As far as variety is concerned, I do snack on macadamia nuts once in a rare while (they don't seem to have a huge effect, binge-wise) and seaweed, and I make sure I eat lots and lots of different kinds of meat, including seafood, poultry, and game meats. Honestly, I don't feel bored at all, although I understand if other people do.

But if she reaaaally doesn't want to go meat-only, and if it's not a problem for her to switch back and forth between meat-only and veggies, maybe you guys could work out a cough schedule or something?

Seaweed! I forgot about that. As you know I recently tried eating a few ounces of dulce every day. It wasn't giving me problems as far as I could tell, but I ran out and then got busy, and forgot to restock. Must try again.

I didn't have a lot of luck with meat only (there goes culture born stereo-types) but if people want to try it and are worried about vitamin C I don't see that you can't have grilled fish with some fresh squeezed lemon as a not-quite-middle ground.

You know, there's a lot of leeway to explore between 100g of carbs a day and meat only. Why not try another experiment at, say, 25g a day, and see how that works. If you choose non-starchy vegetables, that actually leaves some generous servings.

Like Rose, though, I still find a huge difference between 25g a day and meat only, so you might still find she has to go lower in carbs to get the best results. This has me wondering if there were other benefits she found during her experiment, that combined with the sexual benefits would be enough to make the idea more compelling. For example, why did she try this experiment in the first place? Did it work for that?

I don't really mind eating only meat, but it did take some getting used to. On days when I feel myself inclining toward boredom, I opt for more expensive cuts, like ribeye, or steelhead trout, or lamb. It's worth the extra cost to me to stay satisfied.

I would be willing to wager that the dietary substance called LECITHIN plays strongly here in this equation. It is found mostly concentrated in meats and eggs. It helps both men and women with body functions that require lubrication (women's vagina, men's cowper's gland and joints). For those of you that don't know what a cowper's gland is, it is the gland in males that produces pre-ejaculate, you know, everything but the sperm which is why some males take massive amounts of the supplement in the hopes of a flood Noah would be proud of.

Lecithin can also be found in plants such as soy beans (yuk) and as a dietary supplement at the pharmacy.

Again, the subatance is called Lecithin and may help reduce a parched vagina's thirst.

My suggestion would be to check into traditional Chinese herbs that supplement kidney yin. Kidney yin is basically estrogen and estrogen is the hormone that keeps you lubricated. I would think that herbs would fall under the umbrella of paleo.

I am 47 and she is 32 and I really do feel 25 again in many ways. Coconut oil works as a natural lubricant. It is good for treating fungi-related infections, itchiness, and is a great skin-care product. I am actually in the process of putting out a complete body care line with coconut and almond oil-based products... all of which are completely edible and are food-based products. Check back soon!

Hack my wife's vagina. Really.

The double entendre of physical violence, associated with an axe or machete, against female genitalia is probably the most literally misogynistic thing I've ever seen. Most vagina hacking is done in Africa, and it's called female circumcision.

And this community of little boys upvotes it more than any other thread on the site because somebody said vagina.

Talking with you feels like I'm pointing out an offense on KKKHacks.org. @mth: My gripe is more with the community upvoting your thread more than any other. One person missing the possible offensive nature of the comment is understandable, but the whole community missing it, and upvoting it, is discouraging.

re: circumcision - http://www.circumstitions.com/FGMvsMGM.html - quote worthy is this: "Thus, despite the heterogeneous voices speaking out against female circumcision, a common thread unites many: all forms of female genital cutting are seen to constitute a sexual mutilation and violation of bodily integrity, and male genital operations are dismissed as benign."

I would not condemn them for it, especially since it was unintentional. I'll leave that to the PC police who are afraid of the power of words. And dancing around something, with the intention of stating it, but making others infer it - does not make you any less aggressive, it just makes you passive aggressive.

I'm against all forms of genital mutilation, including that against boys. One can't say they are the same, however, as female genital mutilation often removes the subjects ability to achieve orgasm, while male circumcision does not.
