Hack my wife's vagina

by 5774 · April 28, 2013 at 08:42 PM

My wife is just starting menopause and has started to get a little dry. She went on a 30 day meat only diet and the juices were flowing again like she was 20 and her sex drive also increased - neither of which I complained about. The problem is that within days of adding veggies back to her diet (100 grams of carbs daily), dryness returned.

She did the meat only diet for another week to see if it was coincidence and after 2 days on meat only she felt relief. The problem is that she doesn't want a meat only diet but would like some natural relief.

So the question is other than a meat only diet, are there other paleo foods that can help? Have any older women experienced something similar?

Well, I don't know about other paleo foods that can help. But I'm perimenopausal, 47, and I've been meat-only for two years now (why does that make me giggle in this context?). I had been VLC before that for about two years. So: I went from around 300+ g carbs daily to about 20g, and then down to less than, oh, 3g or so (toting up trace carbs in eggs, organ meats (giggle again), etc.). And I can tell you that the benefits of dropping those last bits of plant matter were far greater than you'd expect, proportionally speaking.

Not only did I lose weight, constant gnawing hunger, and joint pain, I gained a great deal of, ah, zeal. It's not something I've mentioned often, but my husband walks around now smiling like that guy in the male enhancement commercials -- and no, he didn't buy any of that stuff ;D.

As far as variety is concerned, I do snack on macadamia nuts once in a rare while (they don't seem to have a huge effect, binge-wise) and seaweed, and I make sure I eat lots and lots of different kinds of meat, including seafood, poultry, and game meats. Honestly, I don't feel bored at all, although I understand if other people do.

But if she reaaaally doesn't want to go meat-only, and if it's not a problem for her to switch back and forth between meat-only and veggies, maybe you guys could work out a cough schedule or something?

Ok, I am BRIEFLY coming out of retirement for this question and this question only.

My brother, you'd better give your wife ALL THE MEAT YOU GOT. Otherwise, she's going to become a vegan and start doing that 30 Bananas A Day thing, and you ain't going to be ONE OF THOSE BANANAS.

You know, there's a lot of leeway to explore between 100g of carbs a day and meat only. Why not try another experiment at, say, 25g a day, and see how that works. If you choose non-starchy vegetables, that actually leaves some generous servings.

Like Rose, though, I still find a huge difference between 25g a day and meat only, so you might still find she has to go lower in carbs to get the best results. This has me wondering if there were other benefits she found during her experiment, that combined with the sexual benefits would be enough to make the idea more compelling. For example, why did she try this experiment in the first place? Did it work for that?

I don't really mind eating only meat, but it did take some getting used to. On days when I feel myself inclining toward boredom, I opt for more expensive cuts, like ribeye, or steelhead trout, or lamb. It's worth the extra cost to me to stay satisfied.

I am post menopausal and noted a big difference when I dropped gluten - that was years before I went low carb paleo. I also had a complete reversal of my stress incontinence after eliminating gluten.

Don't believe the docs when they say, "you are getting old, what do you expect."

Thinking outside the, erm, "box", how about exploring bio-identical hormones? There are other requirements for our hormones aside from a lubricated vagina and healthy sex drive.

Gladly. Oh nvm. I got the wrong idea. Next time maybe rephrase the question?

I would be willing to wager that the dietary substance called LECITHIN plays strongly here in this equation. It is found mostly concentrated in meats and eggs. It helps both men and women with body functions that require lubrication (women's vagina, men's cowper's gland and joints). For those of you that don't know what a cowper's gland is, it is the gland in males that produces pre-ejaculate, you know, everything but the sperm which is why some males take massive amounts of the supplement in the hopes of a flood Noah would be proud of.

Lecithin can also be found in plants such as soy beans (yuk) and as a dietary supplement at the pharmacy.

Again, the subatance is called Lecithin and may help reduce a parched vagina's thirst.

My suggestion would be to check into traditional Chinese herbs that supplement kidney yin. Kidney yin is basically estrogen and estrogen is the hormone that keeps you lubricated. I would think that herbs would fall under the umbrella of paleo.

Going paleo has definitely helped me in that department. I don't mind eating lots of meat and fat and very little vegetables. I keep my carb intake below 50g most of the time and just eat lots of different types of meat, and I also have coconut oil and eggs.

I think it's nice for females to have a good sex drive too. It's even nicer when it results from natural changes such as ketogenic diet.

I'm happy with ketosis! :-)

Since going VLC paleo sex drive & stamina have gone way up. I was not slouch before but now my girlfriend complains about getting too much attention (it's just for show though lol). I am 47 and she is 32 and I really do feel 25 again in many ways. When I do eat a lot of veggies it certainly affects my energy, etc. So I get lots of sun light, I take some supplements and stick to eating mostly meat. People often ask me what I am on, I tell them I am 'on meat'.

Coconut oil works as a natural lubricant. It is good for treating fungi-related infections, itchiness, and is a great skin-care product. I am actually in the process of putting out a complete body care line with coconut and almond oil-based products... all of which are completely edible and are food-based products. Check back soon!

Dude... Really? I doubt your wife would appreciate her vagina being on a blog for all to see... Good grief!

Just a suggestion, but why dont you guys have like "Meat Week" so she doesnt have to give up her veggie and nutrients

Next question up, "Hack: Meat Weak" for the paleo guys out there. Now that would be the topic not to miss

Hack my wife's vagina. Really.

The double entendre of physical violence, associated with an axe or machete, against female genitalia is probably the most literally misogynistic thing I've ever seen. Most vagina hacking is done in Africa, and it's called female circumcision.

And this community of little boys upvotes it more than any other thread on the site because somebody said vagina.
