What is the mechanism through which magnesium clears someones sinuses? Mag citrate clears my sinuses better than anything else I have tried.

Mg Citrate is also used to clean up the colon before surgeries. It's simply a muscle relaxant, that's why your sinuses open up too.

It certainly helped my chronic sinusitis. I breath much easier now and the dreadful sinus headaches are few and far between. I believe dairy was the culprit for me. Good luck.

Sounds good to me. It will help to dilute the mucus. Swallowing mucus on an empty stomach can cause upset. It wont hurt your metabolism, especially if you are not eating anything else. Hope you feel better soon.
