I eat low-carb and often fast throughout the day. I am a skinny guy but not underweight. When I don't fast and actually eat something at lunch time, I get sleepy and drowsy (which is why I fast in the first place, I need a clear head when I work).... (more)
Does anyone here get very sleepy after eating a high fat meal (>50 grams)? What would cause fat intake to have such an effect? I feel almost drugged when I consume a lot of fat. Note, don't tell me it's because I am not fat adapted, I followed a... (more)

I've been finding myself feeling sleepy even after I've had 8 hours of sleep. I'd sleep more if I could but my body cannot do more than 8. I've stopped vitamins, especially D, after 6pm. I try not to sleep with a full or empty stomach. My room... (more)

You do need more sleep in the winter, and the further north you live, the more you need. (I live in Canada, so I know what it's like to go to work in the dark... And come home in the dark. If I want to see the sun I have to go out at lunch!) None... (more)
My poor little niece is 4 and has really terrible eczema. They have identified many things she is allergic to that cause flare ups: soy, milk, nuts, citrus, strawberries, and eggs are the ones I am aware of (because the poor thing has to wear a... (more)

I've been strictly Primal (I love dairy mkay?) for 9 months now. It's been a great ride and a pretty easy one at that. My only issue is that I get a massive burst of energy after dinner and find myself snacking in order to drive my insulin... (more)
I've been doing the Paleo thing for about a week. My exercise level has stayed the same (3 days of CrossFit), but my meat consumption has gone from a few times a week tops to several times a day. The past few days I've felt absolutely exhausted,... (more)
Since pretty much birth, I've been a night owl - and hated getting up in the mornings. Since going paleo early this summer I have been feeling so much better - all around. Better skin, less bloating, better digestion, better mood, a tiny bit of... (more)
