Hmm, this question is pretty borderline "see a doctor", so it might get closed. This sounds like a serious eating disorder, one that should be treated by a doctor. That said, I've had some illnesses before where I lost a lot of weight, and there... (more)

Not speaking for paleo in general, but with my latest child, now 17 months, I started sharing broth with him, or juices from my meat, when he started asking for it (about 4 months old iirc). Over a couple of months this morphed to sharing my meat... (more)

Okay, so, I've been testing my limitations diet wise, tried eating different meats at different times, ectectect...I've come to the conclusion that I just can't eat meat, dunno why, but it makes my stomach cramp up like crazy. So, I've given up on... (more)

My friends baby is 16 months old and is still only drinking formula, no solids. Is this ok? Is there any kind of health risk in waiting too long to start solids? The mother said her baby doesn't like solids and she can't get her to eat them. Also... (more)

That is very interesting! I can't imagine a 16 month old not eating solids - my little guy was begging for food a 5.5 months. I would suggest to just keep on trying and offering the solid food at every meal - try varying the tastes, textures... (more)

My son is now 5-months old and I'm thinking about introducing solid foods. I know that most pediatricians recommend that you only do breast milk up to 6 months, but I'd like to start sooner because (a) he seems to be hungry all the time, (b) I'm... (more)

My son at 5 months started salivating and making little chewing motions when we ate solid foods at the table with him - a bit like how a dog does actually! So we gave him fruit and it felt right and worked out. My daughter showed no such... (more)

My son is 5 months old and we plan to introduce some solids to him in a month or so. I want to start off on the right foot and go strictly paleo with him. My first son I was not into paleo, so switching him was a difficult task and I don't want... (more)

See http://paleohacks.com/questions/18013/introducing-solid-foods I started mine on broth and and meat, pureed, chopped finely, or chewed. For a long time that's all he ate. Now at 15 months, he also eats some cheese, eggs, vegetables and fruits. (more)
