I ate soaked buckwheat for a long time because it didn't have an affect on me. Then it started giving me stomach cramps (around the same time avocado and pineapple were giving me the same problems), so now it's on my "eat only rarely" list. I do... (more)

I eat sprouted buckwheat from time to time. I either make granola with it or turn it into crepes or pancakes or oatmeal-type hot cereal. I wouldn't consider it paleo but I think many would do just fine with it and I know of several paleo eaters... (more)

I have never heard of any toxin for people being produced in sprouts of onions (I teach several toxic plant courses). Keep in mind that in quantity, onions can be toxic to most of our pets and stock animals (especially horses and cats). The plant... (more)
