hi! I've been having issues with lchf, I can lose the initial stored carbs attached to water, but after that there seems to be a complete lack of weight loss/stall. ( on lchf for 2 years) Then with the addition of propranolol, a beta blocker, for... (more)

Hi Alalia, it is possible for atypical things to happen anywhere in the population. It should absolutely be possible for a person to not lose weight while on a Low Carb High Fat diet(LCHF). Assuming a LCHF diet where you are controlling Calories... (more)

The best thing you can do, in my opinion, is wait. 1.5 months is not that long and given you lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks, this means you have stalled for about 3 weeks now. I would say 15 pounds gone after 1.5 months is a very good result. Paleo is... (more)

Losing 13 pounds in 4 weeks (>3 pounds per week) is well over normal weight loss. Sounds like you have some very unrealistic expectations for weight loss. Aim for 1 pound per week, you're already 9 weeks ahead of where you should be.

First off, a pound per week is not slow weight loss. The 10lbs in 6 days you lost is from your body adjusting and so-called water-weight (it is still weight, even if water, but it's not pure fatloss) You will not maintain the momentum you had in... (more)
