I'm huge fan of their probiotics, but they don't have lacto strains in them. I wasn't sure if there needs to be lacto strains for veggies and if that has to do more with taste than effectiveness in fermentation.

The veggies should have lactic acid bacteria already on their surface. Add some brine and you're gtg. I have two of the 1li Pickl-it jars. They work great. (more)
