After going Paleo, I discovered that eggs and sour cream (and any soft cheese, really) make me bloated and gassy. I used to eat these but in small quantities due to my fear of cholesterol. Or maybe it was because I had so many other digestive... (more)

Hypothyroidism slows digestion and gives bloating and many other issues. Normal range lab tests mean nothing. I was "normal" in my lab tests until I found a great endocrinologist who fixed my adrenal glans and thyroid (you can't heal hypo unless... (more)

I'm having similar symptoms when I eat coconut milk and meat, it feels the way it does in my gut when I eat grains, just kinda yucky and bloated. I'm looking for information too! I'm doing GAPS so it sucks not to be able to have it for variety! (more)

Try ground chia it seems not to be as irritating to the gut. Onions should be avoided also. And look for fillers in your protein shake like gums, etc and artificial sweeteners as they will also cause gut problems.

"moderately paleo" doesn't tell us too much, we don't know what you're eating. It's likely what you can remove from your diet to help with the bloating, not what you can add. But we need to know what you're eating first.

Thanks for joining and great to hear about your positive transition! I never tried the raw thing for too long and there is sooo much contradictory information out there. What I typically do now when cooking veggies is 1/2 raw and 1/2 cooked, best... (more)

Hi Alice, It will probably take a few cycles for your hormones to settle in I imagine with such a big change in diet. I stopped contraception around the same time I went paleo, and I noticed that each cycle became better and better to the point... (more)
