In order to have a little broth every day, I freeze mine in mason jars. (don't fill them all the way up or they will crack). Then I keep one thawed jar in the fridge, and defrost a frozen one when the fridge one is almost gone.

For months I fried a small oyster with a strip of bacon for breakfast every day. Sometimes I'd chop the oyster into an egg and cook a small omelet with the bacon. Never any stomach problems.

This may simply be a food intolerance (not necessarily food allergy). Seeing as how you have eliminated them, it shouldn't be an issue but you can get something like an ALCAT food test to really find out

I think it's unlikely that rice itself is the problem. I would go to a (specialized) doctor and get it checked out. Just to be safe. Self-diagnosing stomach pains can be a bad idea.

Just too much fat too fast for your system, I imagine. Try ramping up the fat more slowly. Also, Google FODMAPS. If you are FODMAPS-intolerant, it could be a factor. Avocados are on the list & I cannot digest them well.

I wouldn't assume that fat absorption in general is impaired based on an experience with a processed version of an evolutionarily novel fat source. Eat a ribeye steak and report back.
