I LOVE pork liver pate!!! Pate de Campagne specifically, it is awesome, seriously. I could live off nothing but that for 24 hrs a day, every day, for the rest of my life. The one I like is the Trois Petits Cochons. Go for it, that stuff is one... (more)

If you're looking for a paleo way to make pancakes and waffles, here's a dead simple one: Add 1/2 a mashed banana to 1 beaten egg. That's it (scale up for more servings). It's yummy. I watch my carbs, so it's not a great option for me. I do... (more)

Chicarrones or fried pork rinds have been a staple for me for a few weeks now since I started the autoimmune protocol. Baken ets is Frito Lay's version and available at grocery stores. If you can find a local Mexican carniceria, their store made... (more)

I'm not up to making my own yet - is it OK to eat store-bought, refrigerated-in-a-bag-Kosher sauerkraut? All of a sudden I have a hankering for it.

You'd miss out on the probiotics with the in the bag stuff. It's all pasturized which kills the good guys off. If you want to go premade, get some Bubbie's sauerkraut or some kimchi. Full of the reasons that fermented foods are good for you.
