Oh eek, please don't do a major diet revamp or start taking a bunch of meds for cosmetic things at 38 weeks pregnant. The last thing you want right now is a fungal die off. Rosacea flare ups and weird skin things are totally normal during... (more)

Hi everyone, I'm looking for suggestions for something easy you can make when you want something sweetish after dinner but you don't generally keep things like honey or coconut flour in the house. Something quick, easy and that doesn't need to be... (more)

First of all, thanks to all who answered my question about coconut milk! Now, how "bad" is it -- or is it so bad? -- to use the sugar-free, flavoured syrups like Toriani and DaVinci? I don't do sugar at all, and am avoiding fruit at present,... (more)

I used to rely heavily on these syrups in my coffee and iced tea. I always avoided anything with aspartame as it gives me migraines and I read that your body processes it into formaldehyde. As I have learned more and delved more into the... (more)

Okay, so. I've got a couple of comments, and I hope they don't come across wrong. First, is it that you want to eat bacon but have been intimidated by the thought of bacon as not being terrible for you, or is it that you feel you should eat/like... (more)

I'm often making ground beef lately, but I don't have fatty cuts of grass-fed ground beef at the moment. My meals are a bit ... boring. I need sauce! Being on VLC, I need sauces low in sugar, but I don't even know if that's technically... (more)

Cook your ground beef with olive tapendade. Umm.. a red wine reduction is nice. You can thicken and season any stock. Green Garden is good, put that on top of a burger. Beurre blanc makes everything better. Mushroom sauce with red wine and beef... (more)
