Lots of bone broth! Also, if you're up to it, gnaw on the cartilage at the end of chicken bones—lots of collagen. Still, bone broth is my first recommendation. Hope you get back up and moving soon.

If you eat liver, you should also eat as much oysters, because liver will deplete your zinc, and you do need zinc to recover. Have each once a week.

I used too recommend it and no longer do. The benefits outweigh the risks. In six yrs no bleeds from fish oil as yet. That includes vitamin E too.
