Since I'm a new user, or so it says, I can't add new tags. How about someone adding the tag "dichotomy" for subjects that are filled with controversy in the paleo community? Such as dairy or not to dairy, oxalate or not to oxalate, tubers or not... (more)

Is it a time limit or (as I suspect) a reputation limit that restricts the creation of new tags? I can't find it in the FAQ, else I wouldn't have asked here.

From the FAQ: 250 Vote to close or reopen your questions, create new tags You need 250 reputation points.

what does "closed as 'too localized'" mean? According to the FAQ page, questions should be: • detailed and specific • written clearly and simply • of interest to at least one other person somewhere

Often used for closing very specific health problems. Most often with an admonition to see a doctor first.

What are your thoughts on the quality and usage of tags at Paleohacks? What makes a question well tagged? What makes it poorly tagged?

As a moderator, I hate to admit this, but the "tags" function tab, used as a stand-alone, is becoming less useful as the thread archive becomes larger. This contributes to the problem of duplicate questions. Consider that the most popular tag... (more)

Just found that my endocrinologist hasn't been testing my T3 total. In Oct. another doctor said was only 58 and it dropped 11 to 47 since then. I'm an ex patient of Dr. Atkins, the only Dr. who ever helped me. I have maintained for about a year... (more)

I hope you get a chance to listen to Dr. Cate at Paleo Summit. If not check her blog or podcast on Jimmy Moore's new experts series. She explains a lot of what leads to reverse T3 levels.

i have noticed the skin tags i at one time associated with age are going away. could this be due to my change in lipid consumption ? i no longer consume fried vegetables or fried vegetable oil.

I've heard PUFAs cause skin tags. Sounds like eliminating the ''vegetable'' oils got rid of them. :-)
