When it comes to IGF-1 the lower the better, if you are mainly focused on health. Low IGF-1 levels promote longevity by inhibiting ageing and inhibiting cancer growth.

That's terrible advice. Thyroids NEED iodine and selenium (if you just take iodine and don't have enough selenium to balance it out, you'll get in trouble). It's possible that seaweed is contaminated and you should avoid it for that, but we... (more)

don't supplement, eat kelp i'm sure you won't have ill effects from having a decent amount of kelp. Think about it, if you eat ridiculous amounts of green vegetables you're not going to od from the zinc or magnesium in the veggies.
