Is there any ethnomidcal study on the enthicity of people in the modern world and their dental problems. Or does anyone talked to dentist and they told stories on tooth issues related to ethnicity or cultural background.

One hygienist told me probably due to my ethnicity, I had tooth decay. I wouldn't take what she says seriously, since she was incompetent in her job. There has been scientific studies where it's the western diet that causes tooth decay.

I think we're forgetting the biggest factor which is whether you have the minerals and vitamins to actually keep teeth well mineralized. I ate grains and processed food for years and never had a cavity but I'm a lover of Jewish/Russian food so we... (more)

This is what I follow: http://askdrellie.blogspot.com/ Seems to work well, have reversed a few smaller cavities. I also take vit D, K2 and minerals. Can take more than 30 days to heal a cavity though. (more)
