I've had never run more than 1-2 miles before doing the Rugged Maniac which was a 5k hilly obstacle course event. Tough yes, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. By the end I felt I could keep going. Its as much mental as physical.

I've done a Tough Mudder and I don't think you need to do a Warrior Dash first. TMs are not races. They are not timed. They are events where the goal is to finish as well as you can, and you get a ton of help from whoever's around. Like you, I was... (more)
