I see there are many recipes of paleo pancakes, brownies, ice cream, cinnamon rolls (oooh myy, looks soo good..), etc. Is this something you include in your diet, or do you stay away from baking and keep it totally clean?

I certainly agree that there are many paleo treat recipes and, yes, I've pinned quite a few of them. But have I made them? Only a few and only for special occasions when hosting other people. (Often, they turn out a little dissapointing.)... (more)

Coconut oil is NOT a good cooking oil by itself, use Olive oil, virgin is best in a fry pan. Add some coconut oil if you like by it is a waste, as when done properly, the oil remains mostly in the pan and not in the food. Don't waste good coconut... (more)

My husband is currently deployed and while this is his 4th or 5th deployment, his previous ones were on large aircraft carriers or in the desert where there was an ample food supply with many choices he could modify. This deployment is different.... (more)

Maybe a higher than usual insulin spike (and subsequent blood sugar drop) due to the casein? Or perhaps you are sensitive to aflatoxin?
