I see there are many recipes of paleo pancakes, brownies, ice cream, cinnamon rolls (oooh myy, looks soo good..), etc. Is this something you include in your diet, or do you stay away from baking and keep it totally clean?

I certainly agree that there are many paleo treat recipes and, yes, I've pinned quite a few of them. But have I made them? Only a few and only for special occasions when hosting other people. (Often, they turn out a little dissapointing.)... (more)

My husband is currently deployed and while this is his 4th or 5th deployment, his previous ones were on large aircraft carriers or in the desert where there was an ample food supply with many choices he could modify. This deployment is different.... (more)

If you have a dehydrator, you can make him all sorts of veggie chips. They will hold up if you use the vacuum sealer to make up packages. I also dry fruit--strawberries work really well and you can slice them evenly with a hard boiled egg... (more)

I get a pedicure or a manicure. Unfortunately, my relationship with food is still horrifyingly precarious and if I reward myself with food, I will spiral out of control very easily.

Lamb chops for breakfast! I lived there as a child and meat, lamb especially, was so cheap and delicious. As far as I know, all the lamb is grass-fed.
