Your LDL number is actually calculated (not measured) in both of your results, using the Friedewald formula. I just confirmed this using an online calculator (link below). If you use the Iranian formula (instead of your Friedewald... (more)

I've heard of low triglycerides...but this seems scarily low... Triglycerides: 17 Cholesterol: 233 HDL: 86 LDL: 144 Any ideas on what would cause this scenario and what one would do about it? (more)

ehh.... statins are horrible, did you read the side effects. Also that 180 or 200 limit is an arbitrary number that was pulled out of the air and has no scientific backing. It probably was the pharmaceutical companies that recommend doctors give... (more)
